CMS1500 (HICFA) Billing Services Update

As you might be aware, insurance companies discontinued the use of the old 08/05 form on April 1st 2014, only the new CMS1500 (HICFA) form will be acceptable for billing services. Any claims filed on the old form will not be processed and major delays will be a problem.

If you’re processing your chiropractic claims and billing services through Clinic Doctor the form is already uploaded in our system. In fact, you will never have to worry about chiropractic claim denials or any type of disruption due to the new form version change.

We make it our priority to be ahead of the industry, in both the claim filing and billing service aspect, all you need to be responsible for is the care of your chiropractic patients.

Clinic Doctor Benefits

Clinic Doctor is designed to accommodate both ICD-9 and ICD-10 codes until the deadline of 10/01/2015, for everyone covered by HIPAA. It is important that the claim process doesn’t transition to ICD-10 codes too early or too late, if so, the claim will not be processed. The deadlines for these codes are strict and Clinic Doctor will identify any input errors and alert you if changes need to be made, thereby resolving any hassles after submission and improving accuracy.

We all know this will not be the last transition the insurance companies and the healthcare industry will bring our way. Stay ahead of it all, while having complete access to your clients’ records with Clinic Doctor.

Don’t worry about wasting money on forms that will become outdated sooner than anticipated. Let us simplify your days! We will keep our services up to date on version and software changes and their time-lines, while making sure we have the needed compatibility so you can keep up with the needs of your patients.

If you’re in the chiropractic industry and are looking for a way to ease all the aspects of managing your chiropractic billing services Clinic Doctor can help! Our services minimize the hassle of everything from health record storage and access, to claim filing and the billing and software aspects.
