Clinic Doctor, an electronic health records provider was founded in 2004 by a team of healthcare experts that had identified a series of problems and challenges associated with chiropractic billing. It is essentially a solution for chiropractors, built by chiropractors and compliance experts. We began with a simple idea: helping chiropractors reduce billing errors and create an easy to use solution that would allow them to spend more time with patients. Our mission continues to be focused on enabling clinics to outsource complex claims and billing to Clinic Doctor which in turn allows their practices to become more profitable, streamlined, and compliant.
Chief Executive Officer
Todd Crabtree is a 2004 MBA graduate of Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. He started his software designing career in 1991 with the successful launch of Chameleon, an innovative Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software system. He founded Clinic Doctor Inc. in 2004, to innovate the providing of insurance billing services to healthcare providers in chiropractic clinics that lacked the resources to pay for qualified billing professionals. Clinic Doctor was the first cloud based provider of practice management software to chiropractors nationwide and is one of the first to offer a mobile platform. Clinic Doctor has grown to helping other healthcare providers: Physical Therapists and Physical Medicine Integrated Clinics. He grew up in Blue Earth, Minnesota, a small farming community.
Eric Granstrom, Ph.D., MBA, M.S.
Chief Financial Officer
Eric Granstrom brings to ClinicDr team a blend of rich startup and large company experience. He has worked with 5 high tech startups, the industry leading magnetic storage company, and the industry leading xray film company. He earned his masters degree at Yale University, a Ph.D. at the University of Minnesota, and a Masters in Business Administration at the Carlson School of Management. Eric also taught in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Carleton College. Eric’s expertise has led to 17 U.S. Patents, with numerous patents pending. Eric’s engineering experience, extensive education and entrepreneurial spirit give him know how to develop and execute processes to attain new businesses and markets by broadening corporate perspectives.
David J. Larkin
Director and Special Projects Coordinator
Mr. Larkin has 40 years of business experience working his way from sales to CEO.
He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Harvard in 1961. Before starting a business career, he served four years in the United States Navy as a Naval Aviation Officer. Dave is a 30 year veteran of Honeywell, Inc, where he started in 1965 as a Sales Representative for Boston, New York, Minneapolis and Toronto.
From 1986 to 1991, he was Vice President and Group Executive for the Commercial Building Group at Honeywell headquarters in Minneapolis. During that assignment, he also completed the Global Leadership Program at the University of Michigan in 1990.
From 1992 to 1995, he served as Chairman, President, and CEO of Honeywell Limited in Toronto, Canada.
Following retirement from Honeywell in 1996, Dave started a consulting business in Minneapolis, working with small and medium-sized companies on a broad range of activities from special projects to interim positions and active Board participation. This included a brief full-time assignment as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Jostens, Inc. (1998 to 1999).
David Larkin is currently a general business consultant and an active private investor. He is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors and served on the Board of Ault Inc. in Minneapolis as well as on several private Boards. Recent projects include a successful creation of an annual fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. Dave and his wife Robin reside in Edina, MN.

Rob Chaffee obtained an MBA from the University of St Thomas in 1991. He founded The Corban Groups Trusted Healthcare Information Exchange (T-HIE) practice in 2005, and now leads several startups deploying the Trusted HIE framework and concepts. He is also a founding member of a steering board of Clinic Doctor Inc. Robert has 25 years of technology experience, primarily providing leadership consulting to Fortune 100 clients such as 3M, Medtronic, and Boston Scientific, as well as state level agencies involved in commerce and justice. At KPMG (Bearing Point), his primary focus was to deliver client services in Strategic Services for Technology clients, as well as Enterprise Software Strategy/Selection services. His most recent R&D foci have been integrating biometric authentication capabilities into Web 2.0 infrastructures, and merging social-networking concepts with profession-oriented applications.
